‘Understanding Your Bereavement’ Talk and Workshop in Antrim Library
Published 03 Dec 2024
Antrim Library, in partnership with Cruse Bereavement Support and Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council, will host an informal "Understanding Your Bereavement" talk to support those navigating grief and loss.
Taking place during National Grief Awareness Week, this free event will be hosted in Antrim Library on Friday 6 December from 10:00am - 12:30pm.
The event aims to provide a safe space for those who have experienced bereavement, offering insights to help attendees understand and cope with their grief. As the holiday season can be particularly challenging, the session will include practical advice and emotional support from experienced bereavement volunteers.
Following the talk, attendees are invited to participate in a craft and chat workshop, designed to offer creative expression and an opportunity to connect with others who may share similar experiences. Refreshments will be provided, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
If you would like to attend, please contact Antrim Library on telephone 0289446 1942 or email antrim.library@librariesni.org.uk to confirm your place.
