Downpatrick Library

The Cultural Heritage Gallery in Downpatrick Library holds the largest Heritage collection in County Down. Included is the “Register of the inhabitants of Killyleagh 1891-1899”, which records the names and occupations of every resident in the town of Killyleagh, the village of Shrigley and the surrounding townlands during the period 1891-1899. Also of interest to those researching their family history are the Grand Jury records of the County administration prior to 1898.
