UPDATES RELATING TO LIBRARIES INCLUDING TEMPORARY AND EXCEPTIONAL CLOSURE DATES:
Temporary Closure of Ballycastle Library for Refurbishment Work
Due to refurbishment work, Ballycastle Library will be closed from Monday 8 September reopening in late Autumn.
During this temporary closure, customers can visit any public library.

The planned refurbishment includes refreshed interiors, including updated décor, new flooring, improved ceilings and enhancements to staff facilities. These improvements are designed to create an even more welcoming and comfortable space for everyone to enjoy.
During the library closure, items can be renewed online with your library membership card and PIN number which is available from library staff. eBooks, eAudiobooks and eMagazines can also be borrowed through our online library.
- Ballymena Central Library will close at the earlier time of 6:00pm (not the normal time of 8:00pm) on Thursday 11 September. Alternative libraries that are open after 6:00pm on Thursday include Larne (open on Thursday from 2:00pm until 8:00pm).
- Kilrea Library will close from 5:00pm until 5:30pm and then reopen from 5:30pm until 8:00pm on Tuesday 9 September. Alternative libraries which are open on Tuesday evenings after 5:00pm include Garvagh (open from 2:00pm until 8:00pm) and Coleraine (open from 9:30am until 5:30pm).
- Lurgan Library's main entrance will be closed on Thursday September 18 for maintenance work. During this time, customers should use the previous old entrance instead.

- Belfast Mobile Library will be unavailable on from Monday 15 to Tuesday 23 September inclusive.
- Armagh Mobile Library will have a temporary limited service from Monday 1 September due to essential vehicle maintenance.
- Fermanagh Mobile Library is temporarily unavailable.
- Ballymena Mobile Library is temporarily unavailable.
- Dungannon Mobile Library is currently unavailable. Nearest libraries include Dungannon Library and Omagh Library.
