In support of Loneliness Awareness Week, Dungiven Library invites you to come along to our 'Conversation  Café' event. Join us and spend time engaging with fellow library users and connecting together over a nice cuppa and sweet treat. Connection Corner: Loneliness Awareness Week 2026

To mark Loneliness Awareness Week 2026, Bangor Carnegie Library will host a “Connection Corner”, designed to encourage informal conversation, community participation, and social connection within the library space. Temporary features throughout the library will include shared newspaper and puzzle tables, conversation starter cards, community recommendation boards, and relaxed seating areas intended to support friendly interaction in a low-pressure environment. Visitors are welcome to take part as much or as little as they wish while enjoying a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.
