Boundary Commission: Hopes and Fears in Border Communities

Speaker: Dr Cormac Moore

Historian and author Dr Cormac Moore explores the impact of the Irish Boundary Commission on border communities between 1921 and 1925. Drawing on his extensive published research and commentary, this talk examines how the prospect of transfer shaped the hopes and fears of nationalist and unionist communities alike. 

Clear, authoritative and deeply contextualised, the talk sheds light on a defining, and often misunderstood, chapter of Irish history.
