Dungiven Library is delighted to host the 'Black Heritage in NI: Hidden History Travelling Exhibition'. This project, provided by North West Migrants Forum, is designed to explore and celebrate the often-overlooked stories of Black heritage in Northern Ireland. Through carefully researched content and engaging visual displays, the exhibition highlights the vital contributions, lived experiences, and cultural narratives that have helped shape communities across the region.

Exhibition - New Works by Leo Casement  

Join us in Killyleagh Library for the launch of our new exhibition space with a display of New Works by Leo Casement. Saturday 18 April at 11:00am.

The exhibition will run 18 April - 30 May.

BBC Louis MacNeice Exhibition  

Libraries NI is proud to be hosting an exhibition on loan from BBC NI on the influential Belfast poet and broadcaster Louis MacNeice. Born in Belfast in 1907, MacNeice was one of the foremost poets of his generation and an accomplished broadcaster, enjoying a distinguished career at the BBC.
The exhibit, consisting of 15 large panels, will be hosted on the 2nd floor of Lisburn City Library throughout May.

Natures Table  

An exhibition created by Brain Injury Matters with Curator Ciaran Elizabeth Doran that explores everyone’s relationship, appreciation and importance of nature from early years, at school through to adulthood.

BPIC Photography exhibition in studio  

A selection of images taken by the Belfast Photo Imaging Club will be displayed in the Glen Gallery.

Ulster Architectural Heritage 'Hands-On-Heritage Local Lists' Exhibition  

Coleraine Library is delighted to host the Ulster Architectural Heritage 'Hands-On-Heritage Local Lists' Exhibition. The Local Lists have been produced by Roe Valley Ancestral Researchers, Donaghmore Historical Society, Rathfriland Shared History Group, and Rathmore Historical Society, working in collaboration with UAH. Together, the groups identified, researched, and documented buildings and places they consider significant to their local areas. 

The Lists are presented as interactive digital story maps that explore both familiar and overlooked places, reflecting local knowledge, lived experience, and community priorities. They include a wide range of sites, from grand houses, castles, bawns, banks, and churches to cottages, shops, meeting places, and buildings within living memory. Both listed and non-listed buildings are included, offering an inclusive picture of what defines local character and a sense of place.

The History of Kilrea Library' - Local Exhibition Project  

Working alongside the local community in this community led project exhibition, Kilrea Library invites you to come along and learn more about the library services history in the village of Kilrea, starting from the 1960s until the present day. Find out more on how the provision has evolved until the present day with a collection of information provided from local community figures and artefacts from Libraries NI on display to view.

St Malachy’s PS P7 Art Exhibition on Local Landmarks

All Twisted Up: An Exhibition by Benjamin Boyes  

Benjamin Boyes is a self taught Paper Quiller and artist. Based in Lambeg, Benjamin has been working hard to perfect his Quilling craft, turning paper coils into vibrant art and jewellery. 
Benjamin wants to revitalise the paper quilling craft in Northern Ireland. This nearly forgotten art form has seen a resurgence in recent years and is especially popular in Asian countries. Paper quilling is versatile and has many applications if you have the patience.

Eden Project Exhibition- Rooted in Community  

We’re delighted to welcome The Eden Project to the library for a special exhibition in the run up to The Big Lunch and The Big Do. This inspiring exhibition celebrates community, connection, and its positive impact on the planet encouraging us as neighbours and individuals to take small actions which together can help our communities grow and thrive. Visitors of all ages are invited to drop in and be inspired to take part in The Big Lunch and Big Do celebrations happening locally coming up in June. PenWyn Exhibition in Collaboration with Flax Art Studios Belfast  

To mark its third anniversary, PenWyn presents an exhibition in collaboration with Flax Art Studios Belfast.
 

The exhibition showcases the breadth, creativity, and impact of the project’s co-creation activity, 
featuring a curated selection of printed and framed PenWyn works alongside a digital showreel 
highlighting many more from the nearly 600 PenWyn variations created to date.

The Celebration of the Poppy with Associated Botanical Paintings  

The exhibition by Maurice Shannon will showcase Poppy paintings inspired by original Victorian botanical illustrations, where the attention to detail and fine sketching with subtle watercolours is paramount.

Shockin Pitchers  

A fascinating display of reproduced artworks on canvas by David Z. Crookes exploring alternative realities. Featuring striking pieces such as Giant’s Causeway, Facial Portrait, Ballerina, and Ezekiel’s Vision (Wheels and Cubes). The exhibition invites viewers to see familiar forms in unexpected ways.
