Libraries NI To Host Pop-Up Book Sale This June
Libraries NI is inviting readers of all ages to enjoy a special Pop-Up Book Sale on Saturday 14 June, from 9:00am to 12 noon at the Crescent Arts Centre, Belfast. This one-off event gives visitors the chance to purchase a tote bag and fill it with their choice of pre-loved books – just £8 for library members and £10 for non-members. With a wide range of genres available, there’s something for every reader.

Get Ready to Flamenco in Spain! Join Free Beginner Spanish Classes at Carrickfergus Library
Carrickfergus Library, in partnership with the Open University, will host a series of free Holiday Spanish language classes on Thursday 12, 19 and 26 June from 11:00am to 12:30pm. These three 90-minute Spanish language classes are designed for beginners to help you make the most of your upcoming trip to Spain and will be taught by Ximena Arias-Manzano, a lecturer in Spanish at The Open University in Belfast.

Libraries in Antrim and Newtownabbey are once again proud to support the School Uniform Reuse Scheme – ‘Making Pre-Loved, Re-Loved’, helping families prepare for the new school year while promoting sustainability and reducing waste. From Monday 2 June to Saturday 30 August 2025, Antrim, Ballyclare, Glengormley and Rathcoole Libraries will serve as designated drop-off points for gently used school uniforms from all schools in the Antrim and Newtownabbey area.
