Holocaust Memorial Day in Libraries
Libraries across Northern Ireland will mark Holocaust Memorial Day with a range of free events and activities. These sessions offer space to learn, remember and reflect through poetry readings, coffee mornings and exhibitions, helping communities come together to remember this significant day. | Causeway Coast and Glens Council - Holocaust Memorial Day Exhibition |
Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council’s Good Relations Team invites you to attend their Holocaust Memorial Day Exhibition, hosted this year by Coleraine Library.
Holocaust Memorial Day takes place on the 27th of January each year, coinciding with the anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau, the largest Nazi death camp. It is a time to remember the millions of lives lost during the Holocaust, under Nazi persecution and in the genocides which followed in Cambodia, Rwanda, Bosnia and Darfur.
