Ballymena in the '90s: A Local Lens  

Step back in time with this nostalgic exhibition from Ballymena Photography Club, showcasing everyday life and familiar faces from the 1990s. From bustling streets to quiet corners, these photographs offer a unique glimpse into the people and places that shaped the town a generation ago.

CPA Annual Exhibition  

The Central Photographic Association is one of the oldest Camera Clubs in Northern Ireland. Founded in 1906 it is now in its 118th year. The Annual Exhibition is the culmination of a year’s work, covering ten different sections which are a combination of novice, advanced and open categories. 

 

This exhibition is running throughout June and July in the ground floor foyer gallery.

Inspire, the mental health and wellbeing charity, is marking its 65th anniversary with a poignant and powerful exhibition, INSPIRED, bringing together the stories of its service users and staff.
The multi-media exhibition consists of everyday items, each belonging to one individual and prompting a story or memory of a specific point in their life. Each seemingly mundane article (a set of car jump leads, a 1970s iron, a pair of running shoes, a front door key) has a deeply personal story conveyed through audio narration by the story-tellers themselves. Each shares intimate reflections on their experiences, reflects on their past and, with support from Inspire, looks ahead to the future.

Centenary of Limavady and District War Memorial Boards Exhibition  

Limavady Library in partnership with Causeway Museum Services is delighted to host the Centenary of Limavady and District War Memorial Boards Exhibition. The exhibition, curated in partnership with members of Binevenagh Historical Society and World War One Historian Alistair Harper, relates the history of the War Memorial Boards and profiles some of the soldiers named on them. Travelling Trees' Garvagh Forest Photographic Exhibition  

Portrush Library is delighted to host the 'Travelling Trees' Garvagh Forest Photographic Exhibition, kindly provided by the Garvagh and District Development Association. Consisting of a range of stunning wooden tree displays containing images showcasing the plant, bird and wildlife of the forest, we invite you to come along and view this exhibit, giving people the chance to see the variety, intricacy and beauty of the natural world while capturing the Heritage moments of time from those who have enjoyed the forest. Mapping Monuments Exhibition  

Step into the landscapes of Lough Foyle and Binevenagh and uncover the hidden traces of Ireland’s first comprehensive survey. Mapping Monuments is a community heritage project that brings to life the people, places, and practices behind the original Ordnance Survey (OS) of Ireland, begun in the 1820s.

Art Exhibition – Jenny Bailie  

Jenny has been exploring colour and texture through collagraphy, a method of creating intaglio prints using card, paper, and fabric.  The exhibition is the result of several weeks of printing, exploring, and trying out new things.  Explorations are not finished pieces, but opportunities for new directions.

Join local artist Grahame Booth for the launch of his latest book "Plein Air Painting with Watercolours".  Grahame will be giving a painting demonstration and refreshments will be provided.
