PenWyn Exhibition in Collaboration with Flax Art Studios Belfast  

To mark its third anniversary, PenWyn presents an exhibition in collaboration with Flax Art Studios Belfast.
 

The exhibition showcases the breadth, creativity, and impact of the project’s co-creation activity, 
featuring a curated selection of printed and framed PenWyn works alongside a digital showreel 
highlighting many more from the nearly 600 PenWyn variations created to date.

At The Crossroads: The Campaign For Civil Rights in Northern Ireland.

The Importance of the civil rights movement in Northern Ireland cannot be overstated. The impact it had on future events makes it one of the most significant aspects of our recent history. 
This project developed by The Linen Hall Library is currently touring various libraries throughout Northern Ireland.

Francis Joseph Bigger Collection' Exhibition  

Coleraine Library is delighted to host the 'Francis Joseph Bigger Collection' Exhibition. This exhibition marks the centenary of the death of Francis Joseph Bigger in 1926. Held at Belfast Central Library, the Collection includes Bigger’s private library, personal papers, manuscripts and correspondence. The exhibition illustrates his life and interests, including archaeology, language, history, music and the wider Irish cultural revival. Everyone Welcome. Available to view during opening hours.

Sam Thompson Archive' Exhibition  

Ballymoney Library is delighted to host the 'Sam Thompson Archive' Exhibition. The Sam Thompson Archive, normally held in Belfast Central Library, provides a vivid snapshot of the man and his times. An important collection of manuscripts and typescripts, it is complemented by the correspondence, photographs and scrapbooks. Everyone Welcome.

First Solo Art and Jewellery Exhibition by Lili Marjorie Gualberto  

Steeped in Majorie's Filipino family heritage, the exhibition explores themes of identity, and cultural storytelling through fine art, gemstone-adorned painting, and jewellery works from and situates both a personal and historical narrative within a broader meditation on resilience and legacy. 

There is a special public launch on 5 June at 11:00am

The Celebration of the Poppy with Associated Botanical Paintings  

The exhibition by Maurice Shannon will showcase Poppy paintings inspired by original Victorian botanical illustrations, where the attention to detail and fine sketching with subtle watercolours is paramount.

Icons Into Ammo Exhibition by Inna Shynkevich  

This exhibition presents sacred icons painted on reclaimed ammunition boxes from the war in Ukraine. The idea behind the exhibition is symbolic: transforming objects associated with war into works of faith, reflection and hope.

Shockin Pitchers  

A fascinating display of reproduced artworks on canvas by David Z. Crookes exploring alternative realities. Featuring striking pieces such as Giant’s Causeway, Facial Portrait, Ballerina, and Ezekiel’s Vision (Wheels and Cubes). The exhibition invites viewers to see familiar forms in unexpected ways.
