Summer Opening hours

Libraries NI has announced Summer Opening Hours across the network of libraries which will take effect from Monday 27 June until Saturday 3 September 2022.

Many customers use the library differently over the summer period and therefore the opening hours have been adjusted accordingly. The main change is that late night openings beyond 6:00pm from Monday to Friday will not be available.

Details of the new summer timetable will be available from Monday 27 June 2022 in public libraries and on the Libraries NI website.

Catalogue Availability on 28 June

The Catalogue website will be unavailable from 9:00pm until 10:00pm on Tuesday 28 June. This is in order to facilitate essential maintenance on the Catalogue website. All other online services will remain available during this period. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Libraries NI Catalogue

Apologies - we are experiencing difficulties with digital titles on the catalogue. Individual titles are listed but the Download option is currently not working. We are working to get this resolved as quickly as possible.  In the meantime please use the Libby and BorrowBox apps which are still working and on those apps you can see what we have available. Thank you and apologies for any inconvenience.

COVID-19
Libraries NI is continuing to maintain and adhere to the sensible measures that we have learnt to protect ourselves and others in line with health guidance - we recommend that customers remain distance aware, use hand sanitiser and wear a face covering whilst in libraries.

Customers can continue to enjoy free access to eBooks, eAudiobooks, eMagazines and eNewspapers, and the Book and Collect Service will continue to operate in all libraries.
