Whiterock Library today welcomed the Children’s Commissioner for Northern Ireland, school children from the area and members of local organisations to officially open the newly renovated children’s library. Guests were invited to take a tour of the stunning new look library that has been meticulously designed with the intention of creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for Libraries NI’s junior members.

Libraries NI Christmas Holiday Closure
All libraries will be closed on Saturday 23 December 2023 through to Monday 1 January 2024 inclusive. From Friday 22 December 2023 to Monday 1 January 2024 inclusive, the Mobile Library Service and Home Call Service will be off the road for the holiday period. The Out of Hours service will also be closed during this time.
