Winter opening hours will be in operation across the network of libraries from Monday 1 September, with late nights available once again for customers.

📢 NEW MEMBERS 📢
New library members who join online should use their membership number “UNREGXXXXXXX” to access the Libby and BorrowBox apps. However, if you have called into a library and received a library card then please use the membership number on the card to log in, “1000XXXXXX”.

UPDATES RELATING TO LIBRARIES INCLUDING TEMPORARY AND EXCEPTIONAL CLOSURE DATES:
Temporary Closure of Ballycastle Library for Refurbishment Work
Due to refurbishment work, Ballycastle Library will be closed on Monday 8 September for a period of approximately four weeks.
During this temporary closure, customers can visit any public library.

The planned refurbishment includes refreshed interiors, including updated décor, new flooring, improved ceilings and enhancements to staff facilities. These improvements are designed to create an even more welcoming and comfortable space for everyone to enjoy.
During the library closure, items can be renewed online with your library membership card and PIN number which is available from library staff. eBooks, eAudiobooks and eMagazines can also be borrowed through our online library.
- Cushendall Library will be closed from 5:00pm - 5:30pm on Tuesday 2 September. Alternative libraries include Ballycastle and Carnlough.
- Kilrea Library will be closed on Saturday 30 August and from 5:00pm - 5:30pm on Tuesday 2 September Alternative libraries include Coleraine and Garvagh.
- The main entrance of Lurgan Library will be closed on Thursday September 18 for maintenance work. During this time, customers should use the previous old entrance instead.
- Antrim Library will be closed on Saturday 30 August due to roads surrounding the branch being closed. Alternative libraries include Greystone, Randalstown and Ballymena Central.

- Armagh Mobile Library will have a temporary limited service from Monday 1 September due to essential vehicle maintenance.
- Belfast Mobile Library will be unavailable from Friday 22 August - Friday 29 August inclusive.
- Bangor and Lisburn Mobile Library will be unavailable from Tuesday 26 until Friday 29 August inclusive.
- Causeway Coast Mobile Library will be unavailable from Monday 1 September until Friday 5 September inclusive.
- Fermanagh Mobile Library is temporarily unavailable.
- Tyrone Mobile Library will be available from Tuesday 2 September.
- Ballymena Mobile Library is temporarily unavailable.
- Dungannon Mobile Library is currently unavailable. Nearest libraries include Dungannon Library and Omagh Library.
