Belfast Central Seed Library  
The Belfast Central Seed Library is situated beside the counter in our 1st floor reading room. 

It is very easy to take part:
Simply take a packet or 2 of seeds from our seed catalogue drawers. We have a large selection of flower, plants, herb and vegetable seeds to choose from.
And before you leave don’t forget to also check our A - Z of gardening related book subjects listed in the catalogue drawer. You might just find a book to help you with your planting!

Then take your seed packets home, plant them and enjoy watching them grow and don’t forget to let us know how you get on.
Finally, if you know of anyone else who would interested in our Seed Library please let them know about it. The more budding gardeners we can get the better as it will help our Seed Library continue to grow!

Online Yoga  

Every Thursday from 11:00 am to 12 noon.

 

The online yoga classes are streamed into the Mount Stewart Suite at Fivemiletown Library. These classes are accessible practices designed to reduce stress and help you feel connected.

 

The focus of the classes will be on intentional movement, breath awareness and relaxation techniques, making it suitable for all levels with no previous experience required.

Art of Life Weaving Workshop  

Join Art of Life Creative Textiles Artist Morag Donald from Crafting your Soul in a weaving workshop. 

 

This workshop forms part of Art of Life programme, using creativity to normalise conversations around death, dying and end of life care. Morag is a trained facilitator and this is a gentle, safe space for participants held on Advance Care Planning Day. We keep it very light and non intrusive, people can share their stories, or not. There is no pressure. We just want to give people a chance to relax and reflect and they will have a lovely little piece to take home. 

 

This project is funded by Creative Ireland - Shared Island and Cavan County Council through Creative Cavan.

In support of Mental Health Awareness Week, Kilrea Library invites the local community to come together for a celebration afternoon tea special. Enjoy a selection of tasty bites over a nice cuppa as we talk about the importance of positive minds and wellbeing. Lets also come together to take this opportunity to celebrate the recent 'Great Village Knitted Bunting' project and discuss the benefits of coming together as community to work on projects of creative delight.
